Concert Summary

AC/DC had been in existence for six years and had released as many albums when they recorded this rollicking show at Towson State College, near Baltimore, Maryland. The band was in its prime, with vocalist Bon Scott leading the group through what would later be viewed as some of their strongest material, with the Young Brothers (Angus and Malcolm) driving the guitar-boogie riffs at full throttle.

The band had just released Highway To Hell, the album that would break the entertaining Aussie band worldwide, and was…entire summary

I saw them at the TCA grounds in Hobart, Tasmania 2001 with my dad and they left me deaf for about 2 or 3 days, but gods it was good. I am now in Japan and am desperately hoping they add Japan to the tour list, as i wanna see them again and get deafened again!

I'm taking my 13 year old son to his first concert with AC/DC this July 28. They're playing at Gillette Stadium, Foxboro, Mass. Home of the New England Patriots. I scored some kick-ass seats when tickets first went on sale about 6 weeks ago. Being 46 years old, I remember Bon Scott lead singing when this band first started out. They were great! But they really became one of rocks best hard rock bands when BACK IN BLACK with Brian Johnson exploded into the world. And I do mean EXPLODED! Can't wait for the BLACK ICE show with my son. Good choice for a first concert for my 13 year-old son. He's a heavy metal "AC/DC" fan. Wouldn't you guy's agree?

My brother seen AC/DC ween Bon was still alive and "that show was one of the best shows if not the best" he'd ever been to he said. Bon carried Angus out into the crowd I think for one of the first times. My cousin always claimed to have meet Angus Young in a elevator after a show somewere in Tennesse or Florida.

Yeah, those other guys are right, this was an AC/DC that there just never was again. My memory's not the greatest for dates and details, but I think it was about a month or two before your show that I saw AC/DC open up for UFO at the Tower theatre in Philly. Thanks for a great trip down memory lane. Usually I'm not a big one for radio concerts, but this one really did capture these guys the way they were.Even having to face being an unknown band doing a big radio commercial for themselves wasn't enough to make these guys wussies!
