Blue Oyster Cult were forever overlooked by the music press (Sounds,NME) in the 70's and early 80's when they were at their best with comments like "their best music lies ahead...." all the time every album had 4 or 5 great tracks and maybe some filler, all UK tours were packed and this old concert shows when live, the band were superb.Such UK support bands as Japan (Ghosts etc)meant the promoters mustn't have ever heard either artist, but despite that BOC live were one of the great parts of RnR gigging in those years, perfectly shown here in the twighlight of their golden era.
