Summary

The Derek and The Dominos In Concert LPs and CDs are excerpted from these Fillmore East concerts, when the group headlined a bill that included Ballin’ Jack and Humble Pie.

This show was the gist of the 'In Concert' album and has the BEST version of Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad ever recorded! This was the core band - Whitlock, Gordon, Radle, Clapton - churning out music that will probably never be equaled. Clapton's passion on these two concerts underscores why he was trumpeted as 'God' during the '60s. Incredible. Gordon beat the skins like he was possessed and Radle / Whitlock played their roles well... Too bad there is no 'Keep on Growin'' or 'Anyday' from these concerts. Wish I could have seen it. Thanks Wolfgang's Vault for letting me hear it!!

Always important for me to see who actually performed that particular night. For example, I'm interested if Duane Allman performed in this show with Clapton.
