Having learned how to wail from none other than Sonny Boy Williamson himself, Cotton was well prepared and over the next 12 years, he played an integral role in Muddy Water's music as well as the Chicago blues scene in general. I was at this show and 35 years later I still say it was the best blues I have seen, the sax player at the time looking 100 years old kicked ass and joints were being thrown in his direction he picked them up and put them in his sweater pocket and smiled and blew that sax. winterland was a great place and time ! Dario, Castro valley CA.

I'm loving this. How about releasing the Roy Buchanan set while you are at it?

Please, I ask you once again to restore the ability to see who the band memebers are on these concerts. It's of historical importance to anyone who takes the time to subscribe to Wolfgangs Vault. That we had this ability until recently was great and was in the spirit of what Bill Graham was all about in promoting this music and these musicians. You don't want his ghost to come around and deal with this, do you? With all sincerity, please give these music makers there due credit. Thank you. Mike Guion Saint Paul, Mn. Mguion@aol.com
