I attended this show and I remember the sound of Beck's guitar on Freeway Jam and Constipated Duck as piercing.Being one of my first concerts,I remember going into the bathroom and the amount of acid, pills and weed was like the Farmer's Market on a Saturday! Both guitarists blew the crowd away!

I saw a few shows from this tour and remember how Jeff and the Mahavishu Orchestra used to trade off who would open, and each night it would change. At the end of each show Jeff and John would go back and forth in some sort of guitar exchange. This went on for a few minutes, until one point, where john was doing some fast scaley kind of riff, and Jeff came back and hit one note which shot through everyone in the sudiences heart like an arrow, you could see the whole crowd sort of shift back after Jeff hit this note. And for me, this has always been what Jeff has been about. He could hit one note, and kill with it, where other players would try all sorts of tricks, speed and other attention getters, for Jeff it was always about feeling, and on this night this one note exemplified why Jeff is , what I believe the gratest electric guitar player of all time. had Hendrix had lived, he might have gone on, however, nobody out there, today, yesterday or ever plays the guitar with such feeling and taste as Jeff does. Most players will tell you the same, Eric Page, all of them know Jeff is the guy.

I had friends who attended this concert and regaled me with tales of Beck's excellence. It's nice to finally get to hear this one.
