Like so many others that were taken from us in their prime, we will never know where they might have gone with their imaginative minds but, we will always remember what they have given us, and that can never be taken from us! (cherish your memories)

I don't want to sound like a teenager ;>) But when I read that post about the person smoking a joint with Jimi Hendrix before his concert, my reaction was - Cool! Way Cool! There's another post on Wolfgang's for a Janis Joplin concert. The person said he was standing there watching the show and right next to him was Hendrix filming Janis as she performed. And I recently read a blog where this woman talked about seeing Dylan at the 1969 Isle of Wight festival. 20 feet behind her, sitting on the grass, was Jimi (with some friends). Of course, Hendrix was a HUGE Dylan fan. But these posts show that he was a fan too. Not your typical "rock star", especially when you compare this to modern rock stars with their attitudes (and less talent too, I think) Imagine Madonna sitting on the grass waiting for her fave performer to give a show. I don’t think so.
