Just saw Joe Cocker in Burgettstown, PA with Steve Miller. Joe was the Special Guest and opened the show. The skies unloaded on us people on the lawn at the end of Joe's set and I almost left because ... Joe was so absolutely incredible. Here we are in July 2008 and Joe's voice and stage presence has NOT faultered one bit. I have seen the Woodstock set on DVD and Joe is as good, if not MUCH better after all these years. BTW ... I stayed for the Gangster of Love too and he was darn good. Can not believe that I have a Steve Miller Anthology album from around 1970. He was in fine voice as well but Joe Cocker was the king that night. Thank you Joe for your interpretations of so many excellent songs. You are one of a kind.

The Band is great. J. C. can also sing a telephone book. It will be a hit.
