Another incredible night at Winterland! Great sets but, man, what a tease! This night featured all the Dead's solo projects except Phil's Seastones - Garcia Band w/ Nicky Hopkins on piano, Kingfish, Keith & Donna Band. Most folks were practically begging for the members to do a quick Dead set. Just my luck to live in the Bay area for 9 months while the band was "in retirement." No matter. Got to see Jerry twice a month up close and personal at the Keystone in Berkeley during this time. Including my birthday backstage. Whew!

Robbie's guitar is mixed way too loud...he was good, but not THAT good.

Robbie Hoddinott is a great tasty guitarist! Anybody know how he's doing and what he's up to? -Dave

What a great concert. Weir is in his pime. The audio is clean. (Kynyrd is right.) These are all the great Kingfish songs. Thanks WV
