Saw Leon in Long Beach for the Leon Live album. What a show with a full cast of musicians including the Rev Patrick on dueling piano. 2 days before my 19th BDay. What an experience, with the highway lines weaving in and out. Leon is truly a great singer-songwriter. Coming to OC Fair in S.Cal w/BB Kings Friday the 11th of July. Thanks so much for this vault site, just found it. Leon forever!

I just saw Leon here in New Orleans and he rocked. Although he only said 2 words to the audiance ("Thank You" at the end of the show)it was an awesome experiance and I was so glad to get the oppurtunity to see him live. Thank You Leon, your the greatest. He also was kind enough to autograph a few items I brought to the show. If you get the chance to see him.............GO!!!

Since I was born in 1960 a day late & a dollar short as far as the music scene of the 60's early 70's goes . I was fortunate enough to have 5 uncles on dads side of the family who turned me on to some great music. The youngest one Larry who passed away in the 80's from AIDS ( addiction seemed to run in the family ) was only a yr older than myself , sort of weird when I think about it now Granny was knocked up at the same time as my mom, sheesh . Larry was my best friend during the summer when I left the sweaty concrete confines of Ridgewood NY which is on the Bklyn Queens border and I would head out to Levittown for the summer. Granny worked at the jail Nassau Cnty and walked with us to the front of the line the day Leon tkts went on sale for the Nassau Coliseum she loved whipping out her badge and had no problem that day when we wound up with 5th row floor seats . My first concert and I'll never forget it. I'll also never forget Granny or my uncle Larry , thank you both Love always, Bob
