Concert Summary

Few bands that formed in the early 1970s have managed to survive and continue touring to the present day. Little Feat is one of the few that have, in no small part due to their outstanding musicianship and the idiosyncratic songwriting of founding member, Lowell George, which has stood the test of time.

Little Feat: one of the funkiest, groove-happenin bands, with the chops and sense of humor to rank as one of the all time greatest. First saw them live in Ann Arbor back in the mid-1970s. The music makes you want to move and embrace the beauty of their tightness and amazing musicianship. Groove on boys!

one of several long lost vinyls I once owned, never to be out on disc, that I never expected to hear again. Thanks to anyone involved in bringing this back into my range. Luckfast

amazing show, I was there with a buddy who sent me the link! What a treat to hear again after all those years. We knew Andy Bloch who engineered the live recording. Well done!

little Feat sounded great as I expected. They are underrated as a rock band.

Ooops! Paul's Mall was a twin venue in Boston - the Jazz Workshop is still alive, not Paul's Mall though. -Sb

Too bad this site has only one pre-July-1979 set from Little Feat. I've seen a lot of bands in a lot of places, but nothing ever touched Little Feat at Paul's Mall, August of 1974. It was the best concert I'd ever gone to, in every respect. -Mongoose53
