The band is John Blakely and Peter Walsh (guitars), Doug Kilmer(bass), John Chambers (drums) and Lydia Moreno (vocals). Moreno was one of the other singers in Stoneground; Chambers had played drums with one of the early lineups of the Elvin Bishop Group (he was on the first album); Kilmer had been in various groups, such as Curly Cooke's Hurdy Gurdy Band, and would later play with Mike Bloomfield and Thunder and Lightning (John Cipollina and Nick Gravenites). Blakely and Walsh had and have played with various Berkeley and Marin artists, including Country Joe McDonald.
