Concert Summary

Known in the industry as the Red Rocker, Sammy Hagar came out of San Francisco after relocating there to attend the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967. He made his way through the fertile Bay Area club scene until being picked by ex-Edgar Winter Group guitarist Ronnie Montrose to front that axeman’s own group.

What a fantastic concert and what a great time travel back into those days when we all were (can't believe that!)more than 30 years younger.

Love it, Saw Sammy in 1976 and again a few months ago, still rockin'. Song 10 "Eclipse" is actually one of my favorite Montrose songs: "Space Station Number Five.

Sammy Hagar is great. This live performance says it all. First turned on to him in the band Montrose-a fantastic group. I know a lot of people missed Dave as singer in Van Halen and it is hard to replace an integral original member of any great band. But Sammy IMO is a better singer.

Man, How fucking cool is that. The early days of one of the best front man in Rok n Roll history. Really, not only does he continue to make some of the finest music, but name any rock Star that has done so well, Family, Businesses, No trouble....like he says " i am the worlds best party thrower " . I am his biggest fan, he has made me very proud to be a long time Sammy Hagar fan. M. bywater
