Reviewer should mention that this is an opening gig for Alice Cooper on his Mad House Rock tour. I saw them in Louisville, KY on 3/3/09 and I thought that Wally Stocker stole the show.

Also saw them open for Alice Cooper in 78 at Detroit's Cobo hall. I remember at the time thinking it was the oddest pairing of acts I had ever witnessed, and though I had hear of The Babys I had very little hope they wouldn't be booed right off the stage!!! Boy was I surprised when the Coop's hardcore fans seemed to very enjoy the band. Even to the extent of an encore!! Great show all round!!!!!!!!!

Saw them open for REO in 76. People started screaming for REO, I just sat and listened to Waite's fantastic voice. Still one of my favorite groups and albums. Good stuff with Bad English in later years!

John got beat-down on stage by a Triumph roadie during a show in the late '70's when The Baby's were opening for Triumph, because John was being a prick breaking Triumph's flashlights that lined the front of the stage; he was kicking them and when he was told to stop,he took his guitar and started smashing them so a Triumph stagehand ran onstage and put the beatdown on John! Waite deserved it - LOL!
