Charlie Danials borrowed my new expensive Cross pen to sign autographs with at Peaches back in the day. He never gave it back. Charlie owes me an expesive pen. Led Zep owes me about $500. bucks. Did You Make Her? ....bdpoe

I just Charlie and his band on June 21, 2008, more than 31 years after this concert, and he has not lost a thing! A little stamina, maybe, but his musicianship and voice are as strong as ever! I love that man!

Great set!!I've seen CDB several times in the late 70's. He was always a great show. Taz really jammed on keyboards. Also, the name of the first cut is "Sweet Louisiana". Just thought you might want to know. Thanks for all the great tunes Jungle John

Hey ya'll, This show is smokin'! Willie Nelson guests on How Time Slips Away. Charlie Daniels is one of those incredibly gifted artists that has reinvented himself more times that I can count. This concert is from my most favorite period when he brought out the Saddle Tramp and High Lonesome albums. Charlie Daniels during this period was actually the first "jam band" I ever heard having started my transition from AM radio to FM. These late night listening seesions led me to the Marshall Tucker Band, then the Allman Brothers Band, Sea Level, then I discovered the Grateful Dead and I was off and running. Believe it or not Miles Davis was not that far off and once I discovered the 'birth of the cool', well, the rest is history :-) Enjoy this great, great show! Peace and Great Music, Markbear in Hot'Lanta
