Following the band intro, they kick the show off with John Entwistle's "Heaven and Hell," their standard opener at the time. "I Can't Explain" and "Fortune Teller" hark back to older times, as does "Young Man Blues," but all three are…entire summary

John Entwistle - greatest bass player ever. Keith Moon - greatest drummer ever. Pete- damn good, interesting. Stones are alright. Keith rocks, Mick mocks. Mick Ronson - best guitarist ever.

  • Peter Greenshend | Tuesday, March 31, 2009 | 5:59 am

Stones forever, a monotone singer? Mick Jagger: check. A three chord wonder guitar player? Keith Richards: check. A "luded up" drummer that was admired by Elvin Jones? nope. The best rock bassist ever? nope. Aside from Mick Taylor's brief stint in the Stones as the best musician they ever had, a fan of that band has no basis for throwing rocks in his glass house.

Stones forever - you must be kidding! No one on 'Ludes could drum that fast. Amazing what the Pete could accomplish with those "three chords"
